What We're Doing

 DA Twickenham and Mind encourages sufferers to practice Mindfulness regularly. We worked with LiveWorkWell and Flora MacDonald to discover the benefits of mindfulness in a formal and informal way. As a group, we completed an 8-week mindfulness course, with the intention to repeat it yearly.

Mindfulness can be a great tool to learn when suffering with ongoing depression. It is a valuable skill to be able to sit back and take notice when bad moods recur and when we struggle to take pleasure in life again. This will enable you to ‘nip it in the bud early’ - think of it as a MOT for your mind.
